What does the 3G rule mean?
"3G" means: Anyone who wants to be in publicly accessible indoor spaces can only do so if they have been
vaccinated, recovered or tested negative
.
This applies, for example, to a visit to
body-hugging services such as hairdressers or cosmetic studios,
Restaurants (indoor catering) and accommodation providers such as hotels,
Cinemas,
Indoor swimming pools,
Fitness studios, sports halls or football stadiums.
Hospitals, nursing homes or rehabilitation facilities,
Celebrations and events.
Exceptions for children and counties with an incidence below 35
Of this
exception
are
according to the federal government
Children up to the age of 6 and schoolchildren who are regularly tested anyway.
The federal states can suspend the 3G rule in whole or in part if the seven-day incidence in a district is stable below
35 new infections
.
3G rule at the hairdresser's: Who is a compulsory test for?
For visiting the hairdresser, this means: Customers who provide evidence that they have had a full Covid vaccination or have survived Covid disease can go to the salon without a corona test (those who have recovered need a booster vaccination after six months).
Also,
children
under six years of age and students are exempt from the mandatory testing.
Anyone who has neither been vaccinated nor recovered is subject to the test.
In this case, a
negative rapid test (not older than 24 hours) or a negative PCR test
(valid for up to 48 hours) is a prerequisite in order to get a haircut from the hairdresser.
