(ANSA-AFP) - KABUL, 08 SEPT - Former Afghan president AshrafGhani apologized to the nation and said he regretted that "it is over", with the takeover of power by the Taliban.
Ghani fled from Kabul as militias of so-called Koran students entered the capital on August 15 last.
"Mixed with the Afghan people for failing to make things end differently," he said in a statement.
