Fly differently. Every morning, Dominique Cruciani, experienced ULM pilot, puts on his aviator's outfit to take his geese for a walk during a 40-minute flight over Lake Annecy (Haute-Savoie). A magical moment for this manager of Delta Evasion - one of the first in France to offer, in 1979, first flights in hang-gliding - and who has decided today to share this moment of wonder with the general public, aboard the boat. 'a two-seater ULM (for 480 euros). “I was inspired by the film Le Peuple migrateur by Jacques Perrin. I had participated in the filming in 1998. I was piloting a microlight for aerial shots. We flew with impregnated geese, that is to say domesticated. I wanted to do the same thing, ”says Dominique.
Last May, he decided to go to a goose breeder in Mayenne to see his palmipeds born. Then begins the tedious work of impregnation. Dominique Cruciani then gets his geese used to his microlight, specially designed for flight with birds. “They couldn't take off yet, but I walked them alongside the machine, to familiarize them with the purring of the engine,” he says. Geese have enough feathers to take off at 40 days. We start with flea jumps before arriving today to reach several hundred meters in altitude. "
