The Euronews news channel finds a European shareholder

The investment fund Alpac Capital, based in Portugal, will buy 88% of the capital and invest in digital.


The capital of the multilingual Euronews news channel is once again European.

Based in Portugal, the investment fund Alpac Capital will buy the 88% held by the holding company of Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris.

Why this interest?

“We see it as an investment with high added value.

We believe in the strong growth potential of Euronews and we want to invest to give it the means to develop on the digital side ”,
