From his parents' house in Buenos Aires to two BMW cars to a photo with Fidel Castro: 87 memorabilia from the estate of the football star Diego Maradona, who died just over a year ago, will be auctioned in Argentina on Sunday.
According to auction manager Adrián Mercado, the starting prices are between 50 and 900,000 dollars.
The auction was ordered by the Argentine judiciary to settle Maradona's debts.
His heirs have approved the auction.
Maradona's kids made a "great selection," said Mercado.
Things that are linked to many feelings and memories and that Maradona's family have therefore kept are being auctioned off.
Maradona had given the property up for auction to his parents in the early 1980s when he was playing for Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires.
The most valuable items also include the two BMWs, a Hyundai pickup and a two-room apartment in the resort of Mar del Plata 400 kilometers south of Buenos Aires.
It is cheaper to have a soccer player's treadmill, the photo with the Cuban revolutionary leader Castro and a cigar humidor from Maradona's estate.
Maradona is considered to be one of the best footballers of all time.
The life of the world champion from 1986 was marked by drug and alcohol addiction after his active career.
He died of a heart attack on November 25, 2020 at the age of 60.
