At least four schools have already been found to be verified for the Omicron strain.

The schools where the verified Omicron were found are Givat Brenner High School, where a verified student was found, apparently after returning from abroad and dozens of students were taken to solitary confinement; There are suspects for Omicron at the De Rothschild School in Jerusalem and in the ulpana, where there is a verified staff member for Omicron.

According to the Ministry of Health, there are already 134 verified for Omicron.
Most of them returned from abroad or were in contact with returnees from abroad, and another 20 contagions in the community.
In addition, there is a high suspicion of another 307 cases of Omicron for which the flooring results have not yet been received - of which 88 cases of local infection in the community and the rest returning from abroad or their contacts.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health this evening (Saturday) published the updated morbidity data in Corona, which show that 873 people were diagnosed in the last day with 91,875 new tests.
The coefficient of infection increased to 1.1.
In the hospitals, 82 seriously ill patients are hospitalized, of whom 41 are respirators.
The cumulative death toll from the outbreak is 8,232.
