London photographer Tim Flack, an honorary fellow of the Royal Society of Photography in the UK, travels the world and photographs animals, this time aiming the lens at feathered animals for his new book "Birds" published by Abrams Books.
According to Plaque, "When I started this project, my intention was to explore the beauty and wonder of birds by depicting them in a series of portraits, abstract and flying. For many of us, the corona increased our awareness of nature and especially birds, whose presence actually aroused our senses and lifted our spirits. Imposed on us as a result of the closures during the plague, also gave me a chance to reflect on my photography processes and gather new inspiration from old masters like Rembrandt and Turner.I hope this book reveals even more how truly extraordinary they are, inspiring empathy and encouraging nature conservation It has never been more important. "
Here is a selection of some of the most spectacular images Plaque has documented and incorporated into his book as well.
