The government today (Friday) approved the abolition of the requirement to display a "green mark", except in places where there is a particularly high risk of infection.

The places where the green sign will still be required to be displayed: a hall or garden for celebrations and events, a club or a disco, a place for conferences that include the serving or sale of food and a place where cultural activities take place that are not just sitting.

In addition, the abolition of the permissible occupancy limits in the place where the green daughter operates, the abolition of the general gathering limit, the abolition of the requirement to determine a distance of 1.5 meters between tables in the seating area in the open area of ​​a restaurant, was approved.

In addition, the government approved in a telephone poll the extension of education regulations regarding the obligation to wear a mask and the entry of an unvaccinated / unhealthy worker into an educational institution that is not an institution of higher education, subject to presentation of a negative result in an institutional antigen test, every 84 hours.

The decision will take effect on Monday, 7/2/2022, subject to the approval of the Knesset Education Committee.
