Two sauce products sold by Rewe were recalled due to suspected allergens.
A warning is given before consumption.
Munich - A contradiction between the English and German versions of the ingredients was fatal to the sauce products from the manufacturer Bogoss GmbH.
The sauces sold at Rewe were withdrawn from sale.
The reason is the suspicion of an allergen: the products could contain celery.

According to a report from the Rewe Media Center, the affected products are the Yami sauce and Yuppi sauce in 300ml containers with the code EAN 4270001000859. According to the report, the corresponding products were recalled with all best-before dates.
The letter on the Media Center website informed about the "precautionary recall of the affected batch".
According to the statement, the reason is “a discrepancy between the English and the German list of ingredients”.
Rewe recall: suspected celery allergen in sauce - warning against consumption of the product
There is a suspicion "that the allergen celery may be included, but is not listed in the German-language list of ingredients".
Therefore, the company "reacted immediately and had the affected products immediately removed from sale," the letter from the media center stated.
"The consumption of the affected product is strongly discouraged," the statement also expressly warned.
Customers who have already bought the product would get a refund if they returned it, the media center assured.
You don't need a receipt for this.
Not only Rewe, but also Aldi recently started a recall.
Aldi found that there was a risk of injury when using certain thermal glasses from the manufacturer "CD Creatives Design GmbH".
