Ukrainian-American actress Mila Kunis and her husband Ashton Kutcher have launched a humanitarian aid fundraiser for Ukraine.
They themselves wanted to donate three million dollars, they said in a video.
Her goal is to raise $30 million for refugees through an online fundraising platform.
In the meantime, more than six million dollars have been raised.
She was born in Ukraine in 1983 and came to the United States with her family in 1991, Kunis said.
She always felt like an American, but today she is a "proud Ukrainian".
The actress described the Russian invasion of Ukraine as an "unjust attack on humanity".
Many people would have had to leave everything behind to get to safety.
The refugees need shelter and resources, said Kunis.
With your action you would support this financially.
The actor couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively also started a call for donations for Ukrainian refugees.
Together they want to double every donation to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the USA – “up to one million dollars,” he explained on Twitter.
His wife also shared the post.
