It was brought forward by a day. Nasrallah: 'We have stopped making predictions' (ANSA)

The next hearing in the ongoing trial in Mansura against Patrick Zaki has been brought forward by one day to 5 April.

This was announced by its main legal representative, Hoda Nasrallah, in refusing both to explain the reason for the change and to formulate any expectation on the subject and outcome of the fifth hearing so far scheduled for April 6.

The date had been indicated by the Egyptian student of the University of Bologna himself at the end of the previous hearing, that of 1 February held behind closed doors.

"We cannot formulate expectations about what will happen," Hoda said speaking to ANSA on the phone.

"Every time we present requests and we wait to be able to harangue but the permission does not arrive - she added - we have stopped expecting something. It is difficult to predict".

"The court listens to our requests and then does what it wants," she noted.

The human and civil rights activist is on the loose after being released from prison on 8 December, after 22 months of pre-trial detention, but without the possibility of returning to Italy.
