French President Emmanuel Macron announced a humanitarian evacuation operation in Mariupol with Turkey and Greece.

"Some witnesses have information according to which about 300 people died in the Mariupol drama theater following a bombing of the Russian air force," writes the mayor of Mariupol on his Telegram channel.
"Until the end, we don't want to believe this horror. Until the end we want to believe that everyone is safe. But the testimonies of those inside the building at the time this terrorist act took place say otherwise. ", he adds.
"Russia kills an average of 150 civilians every day. We still don't have enough weapons to sufficiently protect our cities against these heavy attacks."
Sergij Orlov, deputy mayor of Mariupol, said this in an interview with 'Buongiorno' on Sky Tg24.
The situation in the city, Orlov observed, "unfortunately it is terrible. There are 25 days of total blockade, without any connection, and it is not even possible to transfer drugs, water, food. From 150 thousand to 200 thousand citizens are still in the city. an estimate, of course. In the last ten days we have evacuated about 60 thousand citizens to Zaporizhzhia and other cities ".
The civilian death toll in Ukraine has exceeded 1,035: this was announced by the head of the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, Matilda Bogner.

Bogner also confirmed the presence of mass graves in Mariupol, including one that would contain 200 bodies.
"We have growing information about the mass graves that there are," Bogner told reporters in a video link from Ukraine, explaining that some of the evidence comes from satellite imagery.
"Russia is not attacking civilians in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol or other locations but following President Vladimir Putin's instructions to target only military sites."
