The Foo Fighters mourn the loss of a longtime band member.
Now more details about the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins are known.
The Colombian police have gone public with the results of a first toxicological investigation.
Traces of marijuana, opiates and antidepressants were found in the dead man's body, investigators said on Saturday.
Hawkins, 50, was found dead in a hotel in Bogotá on Friday evening (local time).
"Toxicological analysis revealed ten different types of substances," including THC -- found in marijuana -- tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opioids, investigators said.
They did not say whether the drugs led to the musician's death.
The group "is shocked by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins," the band wrote on Twitter on Saturday night.
"His musical spirit and infectious laugh will live on with all of us forever," it said.
At the same time, the band asked for consideration for the family of Hawkins, who leaves behind a wife and several children.
In the band on drums since 1997
The Foo Fighters are currently on a world tour and are making stops in South America.
The group was supposed to perform at the Estereo Picnic festival in the Colombian capital Bogotá on Friday, and two days later in São Paulo.
A Germany concert in Berlin was also planned for the summer.
Hawkins has been with the Foo Fighters - one of the most influential and critically acclaimed alternative rock bands ever - since 1997.
He played drums on some of the group's biggest hits, including "Learn to Fly" and "Best of You."
He previously played drums for Canadian singer Alanis Morissette until frontman Dave Grohl, a former Nirvana drummer himself, poached him.
