(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, MARCH 27 - "We agree on the objective that Iran will never be able to acquire nuclear weapons": according to local media, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said at his meeting today in Jerusalem with the Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid.
"The US - he stressed - believe that the right way is that of a diplomatic agreement. But our commitment that Iran does not become nuclear is a solid commitment".
Referring then to criticism of Washington from the Bennett government, Blinken assured: "We will continue to work together with Israel to contain Iran's aggression in the region".
