(ANSA) - FLORENCE, MARCH 27 - A 50-year-old man, Tommaso Dini, a real estate agent, died in hospital due to complications following an emergency operation, stabbed last night in Scandicci (Florence), in Piazza Piave.
The stabbing took place around 2 o'clock last night, it seems during a fight, then the attacker fled on foot.
Some present rescued the 50-year-old, then admitted to the hospital of San Giovanni di Dio: he was unconscious and had injuries to the chest and leg.
The prognosis was immediately reserved but in any case he was not considered in danger of life.
In the morning he underwent surgery but in the afternoon he didn't make it and passed away.
The carabinieri are now investigating for murder.
In the barracks there is a suspect man whose position is being examined by the investigators of the weapon.
