(ANSA) - TURIN, APRIL 04 - "If we have inflation cor at 1.7%, while in Europe it is 3%, it is because we have absorbed the increases in raw materials, when we find them, and energy in our supply chains. We are keeping these documents inside but today we can no longer hold up. Producing has become uneconomical ".
This was stated by the president of Confindustria, Carlo Bonomi, at the conclusion of the conference organized by Piedmontese industrialists and Intesa Sanpaolo.
"16% of companies have reduced or stopped production, if we continue like this, another 30% will be added in the coming months. If we go to the narrow gauge it is a problem for the country", he reiterated.
