A sharp drop in online piracy practices since 2018. But a phenomenon that is far from being eradicated: in France, 10 million people visit illicit services every month.
The equivalent, for the creative sector, of 1 billion euros vanished, according to Arcom, the super regulator born of the merger between the CSA and Hadopi which unveiled this Tuesday the actions of its first hundred days of existence .
If the fight against piracy is still far from settled, the audiovisual and digital policeman has seen his powers reinforced in this area since the beginning of the year.
He was thus able to intensify the repression around illegal sports streaming.
