Coming to attend Paris fashion week in early March, Serena Williams unveiled almost a month later, a souvenir moment with her daughter Olympia on her Instagram account.
In a Victorian-style apartment, the duo play Barbie dolls, side by side, in a pink Balmain dress.
Mini version for the 4-year-old girl, and life-size for the tennis champion… This fashion tandem sported the same creation resulting from the collaboration of the French house with Mattel.
Signed by the artistic director, Olivier Rousteing, the two fuchsia dresses with imposing padded shoulder pads covered an archival jacquard monogram created by Pierre Balmain in the 1970s. Golden sandals and a “Sophie la girafe” balloon came to accessorize Olympia's outfit.
The mother-daughter duo seemed delighted with this result in view of the caption that Serena Williams posted on her account: “Olympia, do you remember this time when we were in Paris?
And we were magnificent.
