In an accident at Hamburg-Bergedorf train station, a man has been run over several times by S-Bahn trains and is seriously injured.
After evaluating the first video recordings, he was presumably alcoholized.
According to this, the man ran towards the end of the platform at 0.15 a.m. on Saturday night, fell onto the tracks there and was then hit by a train, as a spokesman for the Federal Police said to the German Press Agency.
However, the man was not noticed until three hours later, around 3:15 a.m.
By then, according to the information, he had already been run over by four other S-Bahn trains.
"We are currently assuming a tragic accident," said the spokesman for the federal police.
It has not yet been clearly established who the man is.
The injured man was taken to a hospital where doctors fought for his life.
According to a report in the Hamburger Abendblatt, the man was still responsive when he was rescued from the tracks.
