The actress confided in the podcast “9 to 5ish”, on April 13, about this “absurd” story which “has been following her for a very long time”.

It is a rumor that has, for several years, greatly amused the two interested parties.

The story goes that in 2004, after the 76th Academy Awards in Los Angeles, Scarlett Johansson and Benicio Del Toro found themselves in one of the elevators of the famous Château Marmont to indulge in a torrid and irresistible passion.

A rumor born out of nowhere, that the two actors (partners on the film Avengers: Infinity War in 2018), have never sought to deny.

Almost 20 years later, Scarlett Johansson finally confided in this anecdote, in TheSkimm's 9 to 5ish podcast, released on April 13, and restored the truth.

"There was a rumor going around that I slept with him in an elevator," she joked.

It's a story that has stayed with me for a long time."

Always in confidence, the actress admitted that she had thought for a long time about how to proceed for such a situation.

“It would have been very difficult.

Finally, we do not stay long in the elevator, we have to go very quickly, ”she added.

And to clarify: “In addition, I am someone who is very afraid of being caught doing something that I am not supposed to do.

So that made the story even more absurd to me.”

The case is therefore closed.
