The participants marched to express their concern to see Marine Le Pen accede to the Élysée, eight days before the second round of the presidential election.
Human Rights League, SOS Racisme, CGT… in total, nearly 30 organizations and unions have called for demonstrations.
“Against the far right, for justice and equality.
No Le Pen at the Elysée”, advocated the banner held at the head of the Parisian procession where Philippe Martinez (CGT) and Dominique Sopo (SOS racism) were notably present.

Some demonstrators also wanted to affirm their regret at being faced with a Le Pen / Macron duel in the second round.
"For me today, you can choose the enemy against whom you want to fight during the next mandate", explains Olivia, a young protester.
In Paris, the demonstration was considered "at risk" by the authorities.
An important security device was put in place and some clashes broke out on the Place de la République.
