Seats open in France for the second round of the presidential elections in which President Emmanuel Macron and his rival Marine Le Pen challenge each other.
About 48.7 million voters have been called to the polls to choose between outgoing president Emmanuel Macron and far-right leader Marine Le Pen.
The first figures on turnout are expected around noon.
Macron is favored for a second term but never before has the far right come so close to a possible election to the Elysée.
