(ANSA) - BERGAMO, APRIL 24 - At the first light of dawn today the carabinieri of Bergamo subjected a 22-year-old boy to suspect arrest, accused of the murder of Anselmo Campa, a 56-year-old businessman killed in Grumello del Monte last year April 19.
It is a man who recently had a romantic relationship with a family member of the victim.
Recovered the murder weapon, a hammer, which the man had hidden near the river Oglio.
Therefore, the hypothesis, initially advanced by the investigators, that Campa had been killed during a degenerate theft is excluded.
According to what was released by the Carabinieri, the investigations, excluding the degenerate theft because there was no lack of it in the house of Campa, were immediately directed towards the 22-year-old resident in Grumello (Bergamo).
And the young man, feeling repeatedly, finally confessed.
Overheard for many hours, the young man increasingly contradicted himself with respect to his movements of that day, an aspect that led the military, coordinated by the magistrate in charge of the investigation, to carry out a search.
The 22-year-old collapsed, confessing to the murder.
