A wheelchair user apparently fell into a duck pond in Sögel, Lower Saxony, and drowned.
Witnesses discovered the 56-year-old lifeless in the water in a park on Tuesday evening, the police said.
Apparently no third party fault
According to previous investigations, the man fell into the pond with his wheelchair and died.
There are no indications that other people could have been involved.
The police did not give any further details about the possible course of the accident.
