The Elder Scrolls 6 will probably be released in a few years.

Insiders have shared new clues about the release and content of the Bethesda RPG.

ROCKVILLE, MD – When it comes to waiting for The Elder Scrolls 6, fans of the series have had to be patient for a while.

With The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, the last part of Bethesda's traditional role-playing saga was released more than ten years ago.

Since then, apart from a vague trailer, it has been largely silent about the successor.

Behind the scenes, however, there seems to be a lot to do with The Elder Scrolls 6 – several insiders are currently reporting new information about the release and the content of the game.

Where does the information come from?

There are more and more well-known insiders and experts in the gaming industry who are very familiar with the inner workings of the developer studios.

One of them is known as Shpeshal_Nick on Twitter.

The podcast host and XboxEra co-founder has made a name for himself with some very good predictions and leaks.

On Twitter, he recently shared information about The Elder Scrolls 6 from Skullzi, another insider, and said he had heard almost identical statements about the game's release.

When will The Elder Scrolls 6 be released?

According to Shpeshal_Nick and Skullzi, The Elder Scrolls 6 is scheduled for release between 2025 and 2026. The date is still a few years away, but the game should now be in full development.

Skullzi added in an update that Bethesda will receive additional reinforcements from Microsoft to absorb the "massive workload".

Should the release of The Elder Scrolls 6 come true, there would be more time between two games in the series than ever before.

Even the expected release of GTA 6 is not that far from its predecessor.

What is known about the content?

Insiders have also shared some initial clues with fans about The Elder Scrolls 6 content.

Dragons, for example, will no longer play a role after being a very present threat in Skyrim.

Additionally, the team at Bethesda seems to be focusing more intensely on human relationships: according to Skullzi, "

cheating, marriage, and alliances

" will be important to the game.

Nothing more is known about The Elder Scrolls 6 as the game is still in an early stage of development.

The wait for The Elder Scrolls 6 should be made a little easier for fans of the series in the future.

Shpeshal_Nick and Skullzi both reported that remasters of previous Elder Scrolls games are in the works at inXile.

In addition, the first two parts of the series "Arena" and "Daggerfall" are now available for free in their original form on Steam.

Die-hard fans can easily spend a few hundred hours while waiting for The Elder Scrolls 6.
