Unsurprisingly, the buoyant executive employment market is starting to feel the first effects of the war in Ukraine.
This is in any case what emerges from three studies carried out by the Association for the employment of executives (Apec) which publishes 45% of the executive job offers disseminated.
“Recruitment prospects remain positive, at a level slightly higher than before the crisis, but we have lost the momentum which predominated at the end of 2021”
, notes Gilles Gateau, director general of Apec.
A perceptible change in all indicators, except for that of job offers distributed, which stood at 170,000 in the first quarter of 2022 and jumped 16% compared to 2019.
“We are still catching up on hiring which has been deferred during the crisis, a bump effect that will not last”
, also warns Gilles Gateau.
