(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 28 - 69,204 new infections from Covid have been registered in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister.
Yesterday there were 87,940.
On the other hand, the victims are 131, down from the 186 recorded yesterday.
The molecular and antigenic swabs for coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours amounted to 441,526, compared to 554,526 the previous day.
The positivity rate is 15.7%, a slight decline from yesterday's 15.8%.
The number of patients admitted to intensive care has dropped to 382, 12 fewer than yesterday in the balance between entries and exits.
Daily admissions are 46. There are 10,076 hospitalized in ordinary wards, or 79 less than yesterday.
Also according to the ministry's data, 1,248,806 people currently positive at Covid reach, 14,140 more in the last 24 hours.
A total of 16,349,788 Italians have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the dead have risen to 163,244.
