(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 09 - The tragic toll of a revolt that exploded last night in the regional prison of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas in Ecuador has risen to 43 dead inmates.
This was reported by the Ecuador Public Prosecutor's Office on Twitter.
"Following a riot at the Bellavista Social Rehabilitation Center (CRS) in Santo Domingo, the prosecutor's office and the police collect clues and receive versions on the spot. So far there are 43 deceased inmates (in update)," writes the sulsocial prosecutor.
