(ANSA) - MILAN, MAY 30 - "I made a criticism of a country in which people continue to move forward with a one-off bonus and do not address structural issues".

This was stated by the president of Confindustria, Carlo Bonomi, on the sidelines of the Assolombarda assembly.

"We have a historic opportunity - he adds - which is that of carrying out the structural reforms that this country has been waiting for for 30 years, reforms that we were told could not be done because there were no resources. Today there are resources, reforms must not be done for to have the tranches of the PNRR but to make a country efficient, modern, sustainable and inclusive. This is the objective of the reforms ".

"What we have been asking for for some time is to deal seriously with the problems of work", said Bonomi, amargine of the assembly of Assolombarda.

"When we had criticized active labor policies - he adds - within the citizenship income it seemed treason.

We are seeing the effects. We have arrived at the paradox that we have a Minister of Labor who must find work a navigators who had been hired to find work to those who didn't have it. We truly created the apotheosis in Italy ".

Speaking about the expensive energy issue, Bonomi specified that "the estimate of the business bill is now around 80 billion according to ADEF data".

"The energy bill of companies - he added - has increased sharply in just a few months, from over 60 billion to 80 billion".
