(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 30 - The tomb of Alfredino Rampi, the six-year-old boy who died falling into a well in Vermicino on June 13, 1981, was desecrated. The news was given by the Rai Regional News.
The tombstone of the child's burial at the Verano cemetery in Rome, according to the images released by TgLazio, was smeared with a series of swastikas.
The "strongest condemnation to vile desecration" was expressed by the Lazio Region Health Councilor, Alessio D'Amato.
"A news - he says - that we never wanted to read and which is deeply indignant. I hope that the culprits will be identified by the police as soon as possible".
Just last Saturday, in the Garbatella district, a mural dedicated to Alfredino was inaugurated.
