(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MAY 31 - "In the conversation we had with Olaf Scholz last Saturday I proposed to President Putin an initiative for a resolution at the United Nations" to freeze the loads of grain and cereals still in the port of Odessa.
This was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron at the end of the European Council.
"We are now awaiting a response from Russia on this point and we are in permanent contact with the Secretary General of the United Nations," he added.
