Little Giuseppe never recovered after, perhaps taken ill, he remained face down for several minutes while he was playing in the pool.

The prognosis was reserved from the first admission.

The child was rescued by the 118 health workers at the Villa Sofia hospital and then taken to Ismett.

The investigations into the accident are conducted by the Carabinieri of Carini's company and coordinated by the prosecutor.

The parents are expected to decide on the possible willingness to donate organs.
