On 6 June 2022 from 6 pm, from the Salvo D'Acquisto Barracks in Rome, the ceremony of the 208th Annual Foundation of the Carabinieri will take place
Inside the “Salvo D'Acquisto” barracks in Tor di Quinto, a ceremony will take place in the presence of parliamentary and government authorities, exponents of the judiciary, military authorities and the Commander General.
The ceremony, which will begin at 18 with the deployment of three training regiments representing all the components of the weapon, provides for the review of the Departments by the Minister of Defense, Lorenzo Guerini, the delivery to the War Flag of the weapon of the Carabinieri of the Gold Medal for Civil Merit for the merits acquired in the activity of environmental protection from 1986 to today.
Subsequently, the "Rewards" will be delivered to the Carabinieri most distinguished in service activities and, as usual, the "Annual Award" to six Station Commanders who have distinguished themselves in the activity of the institute.
After the outflow of the Departments, the Historical Equestrian Carousel will follow, performed by the 4th Carabinieri Regiment on Horseback to commemorate the "Charge of Pastrengo" of 1848
