(ANSA) - ROME, June 06 - "Our position remains the same, it being understood that we are not willing to save the government: for us, the sooner this government goes home, the better."
This was said by the leader of the Brothers of Italy Giorgia Meloni, speaking of the vote of 21 June on Ukraine and the position of the party on the sending of arms.
"Italy must not deviate from the international community, the Italian position does not decide the fate of Ukraine, but decides the fate of Italy, its credibility on the international level, its ability to defend its interests" she added.
"We have an export regime with Russia that is 1.5% and 80% in the West, if we become pariahs in the West we will have enormous consequences, including economic ones," she added.
