Fortnite: New map area surprises players – community must dig together for a secret

Mysterious Stones in Fortnite

: Epic Games has not been stingy with surprises for the start of Season 3 in Fortnite.

In addition to a number of gameplay and weapon changes, a certain map area in Fortnite is causing a stir.

The mysterious place is called "The Lonely Door".

When you visit the map area, all you see is a pile of rocks.

However, you can clearly hear rocks moving.

It looks like something is trying to get to the surface from below.

The map area is not the only renewal in Season 3. We show you all the content of the Fortnite Battle Pass from Season 3 Chapter 3.

Fortnite community needs to work together

: Epic Games gives players the opportunity to solve the puzzle themselves.

All you have to do is destroy the stones.

Easier said than done, because they have a crazy 5,000,000,000,000 life points.

The community can only do this together.

Back in 2019, Epic Games had all Fortnite players dig up bones together.

Fortnite: New villain or playable character?

What is behind the stones?

What's behind the stones?

It will take a while before the Fortnite community has reduced the exorbitantly high HP number of stones to zero.

Until then, the question arises as to who or what is hiding under the rubble?

Lots of Fortnite fans on Twitter are tapping Doctor Slone.

She was rammed into the ground by the mech in the live event.

Since she was in a tank, she may actually have survived the incident.

Ingame.de has summarized the Fortnite live event and the highlights at a glance.

Dataminer with a surprising assumption

: Some dataminers quickly came up with the idea that if it is an interactive event, the secret under the stones should already be stored in the code.

And indeed, the data miners found a suspicious file.

The file is called "Spot_HenchBrosCave_Occluded_Digging_Att.uasset".

The HenchBros are the characters Ghost and Shadow, who were actually believed to have died after the events of Chapter 2 Season 8.

The file found by the dataminers, however, speaks volumes through the German translation of the words cave, locked and ditch.

It remains to be seen what is actually hiding under the bricks in Fortnite.
