Exemption for the job interview: when this is possible
As the law firm Steinbock & Partner informs on its website, employees who have given notice or have been given notice are entitled to be released from work.
"According to § 629 BGB, the person entitled to work must grant the person under obligation reasonable time to seek another employment relationship upon request.
Applied to labor law, this simply means:
The employer must release the employee to look for a job at his request
