(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, 09 JUN - "We will never allow the formation of a corridor for terrorism on our border".
This was stated by Turkish President Recep TayyipErdogan, as reported by State TV TRT, in reference to the announced military operation in Ankara against the Kurdish forces in northern Syria.
Speaking at a military ceremony, Erdogan reiterated that Turkey wants to "protect the border with a 30 km deep security strip" and asked Ankara's "allies" to "respect our legitimate concerns".
