(ANSA) - LONDON, JUNE 09 - The government of Boris Johnson is "deeply concerned" by the death sentence imposed by a court of the self-proclaimed pro-Russian republic of Donetskai two British "mercenaries" Aiden Aslin and Shaun Pinner and a Moroccan military soldier.
"We have repeatedly said that they are prisoners of war, that they should not be exploited for political purposes and that they are entitled to immunity under the Geneva Convention," commented a spokesman for DowningStreet.
