In Stresa (VCO), on Lake Maggiore, an
alleged gang rape
is investigated that would have taken place in a late June night
on a free beach
.
The story - of which the local edition of the newspaper La Stampa speaks today, with a reference also in the national edition - concerns a group of
friends
in their early twenties, all local, who, after having been in some places on Lake Maggiore , they finished the evening by the lake in Stresa.
A
girl
made the
complaint
a couple of days later and yesterday - according to the newspaper - the carabinieri showed up at the home of
four friends
of the complainant, three boys and a girl, but at the moment there are no suspects.
The investigation is coordinated by
the Verbania Public Prosecutor's Office
and is conducted by the
Carabinieri
of the provincial command of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and of the Stresa station.
