A man rescues a deaf kitten from the street.
Now they are inseparable and even go to the restaurant together.
Concepción (Chile) - For most people, pets are like real family members: they keep us company, make us laugh and comfort us when we are sad.
Above all, animals are, in contrast to many people, completely loyal and therefore often our best friends.
When Justin Lange rescues a deaf kitten from the street one day, he has no idea that he will find a friend for life in him.
The story of the two touches many people around the world.

Tomcat Elton and Justin Lange are best friends and do everything together.

Justin Lange is a medical technician for ear, nose and throat medicine.
One evening he is on his way to visit friends when he finds the kitten on the street.
He told local media Sabes.cl: "I met him and he approached me without fear.
I asked my friends if I could take him to the house and since one of them is an Elton John fan we called him Elton so he could come to the meeting."
He probably saves the little cat's life, because it turns out Elton is deaf and suffers from epileptic seizures.
"He has a problem with his hearing.
His behavior struck me as strange right from the start,” reports Lange, who works with deaf people himself and therefore finds it easy to deal with the deaf cat.
He takes care of the little cat's medical treatment and the two quickly become inseparable.

"I try not to leave Elton alone for so long because of his seizures, so I take him for walks and he's used to walking with his harness," continues Lange.
And wherever the two show up, they cause a stir.
In the meantime, the two also have the joint Instagram account "eltongato".
They just do everything together - they even go to dinner together from time to time, where cat Elton is of course allowed to sit at the table.

Cat Elton and his best friend Justin Lange were recently filmed during such a visit to a restaurant.
The video went viral on social media and caused great enthusiasm and emotion among countless users.
In the short clip, the man and his cat can be seen sitting at a table having a good time amidst the hustle and bustle of the evening.
It almost looks like the two best friends have tuned out everything around them.

Lange explains that Elton is much more relaxed than other cats because he can't hear anything and doesn't notice the noise around him.
Nevertheless, the cat owner always makes sure that his little furry friend feels comfortable on excursions together: "Sometimes we go for a coffee, but if he gets restless, I drop everything and we go straight away.
He's the boss!” So hopefully the two best friends can have many more great adventures together.
