This Saturday, July 9, more than 600 spectators attended a free concert given by an orchestra, installed as close as possible to the inhabitants.

In the middle of the bars of buildings, the sound of the harp rises.

She is joined by violins, cymbals and then a whole orchestra.

In the city of Louvrais in Pontoise, the national orchestra of Ile de France is installed on the balconies of the inhabitants.

At Saïd and Sabrina's, a tuba and a bassoon have taken their place on their balcony, “marvelously shaking up the monoty of everyday life” smiles Saïd, who has lived in this apartment for 23 years.

It was Pierre Sauvageot, a contemporary composer known for his atypical works, who imagined this concert.

To the music of the instruments is added the sounds of everyday life: that of doorbells, the crying of the baby next door or the neighbour's telephone.

We also hear the voices of the inhabitants of this large complex: they talk about their relationship with their neighbors, the music they listen to.

For many we talk more about Jazz, Rumba, Rap than contemporary music, but at the end of the concert, the applause was unanimous.
