Showcase, the flagship project of Rome Fashion Week, created to connect young designers with buyers and journalists, turns ten with a novelty.
The sixty-eight brands selected for this occasion will have the opportunity to exhibit all together at the same time, without alternating on calendar days, open from 12 to 14 July, in the spaces of the Ex Caserma Guido Reni.

Zerobarracento
presents the collection "A positive relationship to the effortless style, dominated by the search for sensations linked to stillness. A palette characterized by nude and neutral shades, caressed by dusty pastel shades illuminated by warm glows. The mix of chromatic gradations enhances the feeling of calm and tranquility. Pink, powder pink, cyclamen, sky blue and beige alternate with ocher, olive and black. Minimalist cuts complement irregular organic surfaces enhanced by pleated details. Wide trousers, pleated skirts and Bermuda shorts are present for the first time in the collection. it was designed following the Zero - waste commitment: a technique that eliminates textile waste already in the design phase (usually about 15% of fabrics are wasted in the production process).The models are developed starting from linear geometric shapes that create a puzzle then all the pieces are cut and draped on the mannequin.
Giovanna Quaratino's
Shirt-Bag , registered trademark, was born from the union of two indispensable items of clothing: the bag and the shirt.
"It is the union between past and present - explains the designer, 29, - the experience of each of us combined with what we are today. Mine is also a message of social change, since I combine the shirt, a garment only for male use only in the early 1900s, and the bag which on the contrary belonged to man from prehistoric times and became for female use always in the 900 ".
Giovanna uses discontinued fabrics, produced between the 60s and 80s.
Each Shirt Bag is therefore made in a limited edition strictly by hand in Basilicata, where Giovanna lives.

A distinctive feature of the brand is the decoration with the lion's head in antique gold-effect brass, made in the ancient foundries of Naples.
