(ANSA) - ROME, 02 AUG - The Board of Directors of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has allocated one billion to medium and long-term loans for companies affected by the geopolitical and energy context connected to the conflict in Ukraine and a total of new operations for over 4 billion in loans , renegotiations and additional resources for iplafond to support territories and businesses.
The recipients of the geopolitical crisis initiative are medium and large companies that undertake investment programs despite the fact that in the last six months they have recorded decreases in turnover or margins as indirect effects of the crisis and the increase in the cost of raw materials.
The purposes of the new operating line include supporting the growth of companies, also in light of the problematic context of supply chains and the increase in production factors (such as energy and gas), the return to Italy of activities previously delocalized abroad (reshoring) and interventions to in favor of projects that help accelerate the energy transition.
