Diablo 4 Release: Time limited – book gives possible clue

Blizzard will release the Book of Lorath in April 2023.

Maybe this gives an indication of the release date of Diablo 4.

Irvine, California – Diablo Immortal wasn't exactly the fan favorite of Blizzard's franchise.

The game got a devastating score of just 0.3 points in the Metacritic ratings.

The players are now all the more looking forward to the new part of the series, which was announced in 2019.

However, it is not yet known when Diablo 4 will be released.

Blizzard only announced that the fourth part of the series should appear in 2023.

But the release of "Book of Lorath" could now provide an indication of the exact release period of Diablo 4.

This is the clue:

A new Diablo book has been listed on Amazon and other sites.

The book "Diablo: Book of Lorath" is scheduled to be available from April 18, 2023.

This date could also provide an indication of the release of Diablo 4.

Because in the past, Blizzard has repeatedly published books very close to the release of major game titles.

As a rule, there was a period of around six months between the publication of the book and the release of the game.

That could mean that Diablo fans could descend into Hell as early as September-October 2023.

Blizzard released "Book of Cain" on December 13, 2011, Diablo 3 was released only half a year later on May 15, 2012.

That was also the case with the Diablo 3 expansion, Reaper of Souls.

The game was released on March 25, 2014 and the matching book "Book of Tyrael" was previously released on October 1, 2013. Blizzard may have a similar plan with the launch of Diablo 4.

Blizzard already shared some info about Diablo 4 at the last Xbox showcase.

Let's just hope that Diablo 4 fans won't be disappointed again, because Diablo Immortal caused a lot of frustration with its microtransactions.

One player even invested over $100,000 in Diablo Immortal only to be unable to find a match in PvP afterwards.

Written by fantasy author Matthew J. Kirby, the book follows the story of the last Horadric, Lorath Nahr, and his journey through Sanctuary.

There is already speculation on Reddit that Lorath Nahr will take Cain's place in Diablo 4.

In Diablo 3 act 5, Lorath Nahr and Tyrael talk about a Horadric expedition that was dispatched to an island and never returned.

Thus, the Amazon Islands can possibly serve as the setting for Diablo 4.
