New candidates, new hits, new coaches… The junior version of TF 1's flagship telecrochet gets a makeover with this eighth season of “The Voice Kids” this Saturday, after two years of absence.
But, one thing does not change: the concept.
Children tall as three apples, accompanied by their loved ones, attack the monuments of French or international song.
They parade in front of Patrick Fiori, Kendji Girac and the two recruits among the members of the jury, Louane and Julien Doré.
The four listen to each note.
For these pros, picked up by the fragile and youthful voice of the young candidates, the tears rise and the smile is also on everyone's lips.
Louane, was the main victim for this first issue.
Raw emotion on set
"I'm a big whiner," said Sam's understudy in "Luck," her eyes reddened.
The cause ?
Timéo, red jeans and blue shirt, when he took over William Sheller's 1991 hit, "A Happy Man".
This little piece of twelve years with a voice that is both hoarse and soft touched the heart of the former candidate of "The Voice" who, nine years earlier, revealed himself to the general public on these same notes.
"This song changed my life," she said.
At the time, Telephone guitarist Louis Bertignac pressed the famous red button, offering 16-year-old Louane a ticket to start her career.
Today, it was her turn to become, for the duration of a song, during this bonus, a happy woman.
"This song, it changed my life. I wouldn't be here today if it hadn't existed."

The tears did not stop flowing for almost two hours on the face of this mother of a little girl.
And, the talents' life stories didn't help his condition.
When they landed on stage, one dressed in a red dress and the other in a t-shirt adorned with dragons, we did not expect to discover their flaws.
Moved, Louane learned that Loghane, 15, had been the victim of bullying at school and that Sanaa, 14, suffered from a bone disease.
On stage, these teenagers were transformed and delivered, through their title, a message of hope and courage.
The hairs stood up, especially when Loghane performed "Voilà" by Barbara Pravi, selected to represent France at Eurovision in 2021, declaring rhythmically, between two sobs: "Voilai qui je suis"... And, the show does not just getting started!
