(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 20 - Russia has already lost about 44,900 soldiers in Ukraine, 200 in the last day.
The statement was released by the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.
Between February 24, 2022 and August 20, 2022, the total Russian combat losses also included 1,907 tanks (+8 on the last day), 4,212 armored combat vehicles (+17), 1,018 artillery systems (+2), 266 missile systems multi-launch, 141 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 234 aircraft, 197 helicopters, 3,137 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+7), 15 warships / boats, 803 unmanned aerial vehicles (+8), 97 units of special equipment (+3 ).
In total, 190 enemy cruise missiles were shot down, according to Kiev.
