It is a manhunt in Brussels, even with a helicopter in flight, after a van has swept over the outdoor area of a restaurant in a pedestrian area in the heart of the Belgian capital at full speed.
There are only six minor injuries, for which transport to the hospital was not necessary.
The driver, however, escaped aboard the vehicle and police searches are still underway, which has not given any other information on the gesture.

The accident took place around 1 pm in rue Saint-Michel, a perpendicular to rue Neuve.
The van was found a couple of hours later, but still no trace of the driver.
