Vuelta, 7th stage: Herrada wins, Evenepoel always leader

Spaniard preceded, by a matter of centimeters, Simone Battistella, who crossed the finish line beating his fist on the handlebars, as a sign of disappointment, third was the British Fred Wright, fourth the Belgian Jimmy Janssens and fifth the Australian Harry Sweeny.


    The Belgian Remco Evenepoel kept the red jersey as leader of the general classification, which he wore yesterday in the first uphill finish.

Tomorrow the Vuelta will propose another uphill finish, with the 8th stage from La Pola Llaviana-Pola de Laviana to Colláu Fancuaya.

Yernes y Tameza, 153.4 kilometers long.

The riders will cross the finish line at an altitude of 1,088 meters above sea level and there will once again be a great battle between the big names aiming for success and the podium in Madrid.
