The Ministry of Education asked its directorates and branches of the Public Establishment for Printing in the governorates to follow up on distributing the textbook for free to public schools from the first grade to the ninth grade, and to the schools of the sons and daughters of martyrs.
The ministry confirmed in a circular that SANA received a copy of today that the books for the first and second primary grades will be new, in addition to distributing new and unused books for the English language curriculum exercises “activities” for grades from the third primary to the ninth grade, as they are printed according to the numbers of students received from the directorates of education.
The Ministry also stressed the need to direct the Textbook Committee to observe justice by handing over “new-old” books among students for the redistributed books in accordance with the redistribution instructions, with the obligation not to distribute the canceled, damaged, torn or unusable book, withdraw it from the students, and hand them over new books in coordination with them. Between the Textbook Committee and the sub-warehouse custodian, a one-week deadline was given to replace it.
In its circular, the Ministry assigned the Textbook Committee, educational mentors, specialists and supervisors of educational complexes to follow up the implementation and address any case of violation or what needs treatment, as well as following up on the implementation of the ministerial communication regarding granting a free copy of secondary education books and coordinating with the public authorities in the governorate to support the necessary vehicles for transportation and distribution The textbook, and providing the Public Establishment for Printing with the measures taken, the problems and difficulties encountered in the reality of work, and the proposals for treatment.
