A real clap of thunder has just fallen on the world of hip-hop.
Takeoff, one of the three members of the American group Migos, was shot and killed in Houston (Texas) in the evening from Monday to Tuesday, report several media including TMZ.

According to police sources and witnesses to the scene quoted by the American reference site, the 28-year-old rapper was shot shortly after 2 a.m., while he was at a party organized on the occasion of 'Halloween in a bowling alley.
An altercation after a game of dice
Takeoff and Quavo – one of the other members of the hip-hop group, also Takeoff's uncle – were playing dice when an altercation allegedly broke out, leading to a shooting.
TMZ reports that the artist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other people were reportedly hit by gunfire and taken to hospital.
Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was born in 1994 in Georgia (southern United States).
The Migos family trio - which he formed with his uncle, Quavo, and the cousin of the latter, Offset - became known to the general public in 2013 with its title "Versace", then taken up by rapper Drake.
Since then, they have multiplied collaborations with big names in American rap like 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj or Cardi B.
